Ashraf

My name is Ashraf and I reside in the Naperville community in Illinois. I have 14 years of experience teaching Quran at our Islamic Center of Naperville to our community members. I am of Egyptian origin, I memorized the Quran in 2005 and I have obtained the Ijaza with the Riwaaya Hafs 3an 3aasem (certificate of Tajweed) in 2008 in Egypt. I have also competed in various Quran competitions locally and internationally and with the Tawfeeq of Allah I was successful. I am certified to teach reading of the Quran, learning of the Tajweed, including the Makhaarij (proper articulation of letters) as well as all the Ahkaam (rulings) of the Quran. I am also a Hifdh teacher in the sense that I can help students memorize the words of Allah in a very simplified way as I have mastered the Mutashabihaat (the similar verses of the Quran that can potentially confuse students). I have 20 regular students who have finished memorization of the Quran Alhamdulilah under my teaching. I also teach meanings of the Quran for those who are interested.
