I have had a few sessions with this teacher and found his technique to be exactly what I need. He did a "health check" to find out what areas I am making mistakes in, and focussing on them specifically in both learning the theory and then practising. He is also punctual and speaks good english masha'allah.

I have had the privilege of being a student of brother Aboo Dawood for a while now. He is an exceptional teacher with a deep understanding of the Quran and the Sunnah and speaks English fluently. His patience and warmth is contagious and makes learning the Quran very enjoyable. I feel immensely grateful to Allah Azzawajal for guiding me to learn the Quran from this amazing teacher. Completed my first few sessions with Ustadh Aboo Dawoodh and I am more than satisfied.
He is considerate and understanding towards your needs and bases the classes upon your previous knowledge and progresses according to your capability and level of understanding.
He is patient and makes you feel comfortable while still making sure you are up to standard before moving on.
I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn or improve their tajweed.

Teacher was really great. He was young and relatable, with a little sense of humour too. Made the classes fun. With him I was able to learn a lot and progress quickly.
