Welcome to our Privacy Policy. This policy sets out how we handle your personal information if you are a Qutor user or visitor to our Site(s).

When we say ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘Qutor’ it’s because that’s who we are and we own and run the Site(s).

If we say ‘policy’ we are talking about this privacy policy. If we say ‘user terms’ we are talking about the rules for using each of our Site(s).

We are aware of the delicate nature of the contents exchanged on the Platform and undertake to protect privacy by all reasonable means. It is our responsibility to ensure that we handle your Personal Data with due care. We will neither sell nor trade your Personal Data nor will we infringe your personal rights in any way. In addition to the observance of applicable data protection law, Qutor pursues a privacy policy as follows: This privacy policy statement explains how we, Qutor, use details about you, such as name or email address (Personal Data) you forward to us and how we protect your privacy (Privacy Policy).

1. Data Collection, Processing and Use
  1. The website Qutor.com can be accessed and visited without the disclosure of Personal Data. We may collect data in an anonymous form and use this data in order to improve our services.
  2. If you decide to register on our website in order to communicate with other users of our website, you will disclose Personal Data. This data will be collected, processed and used only to the extent necessary for the purpose of making the services provided by Qutor.com available to you unless you expressly consent to other uses.

E-mail addresses, contact data, user-names, member names, IP addresses, other contact details, survey responses, blogs, photos, payment information such as payment agent details, transactional details, tax information, support queries, feedback comments, content you direct us to make available on our Site(s) (such as item descriptions) and web analytics data
    2. Financial information (depending on the type and scope of the services used), such as credit card or bank data
    3. Other information about your interaction with our websites, services, contents or advertisements, including information about your computer or device and about your internet connection, statistics on page impressions, any traffic data, advertising data, IP address and usual weblog information
    4. Additional information that we request in order that you can authenticate yourself and to customise our service to you
  4. The use of our platform by communicating with users generates so-called content data (e.g. text and speech exchanged between users). Apart from that, only so-called traffic data (e.g. connection details and communication times) is collected and used by us as far as necessary to compute remuneration due from such communication.
  5. We collect, process and use Personal Data also for the purpose of identifying, delimiting and removing malfunctions and errors in the telecommunication systems.
2. How we collect Personal Information
  1. We collect personal information directly when you provide it to us, automatically as you navigate through the Site(s), or through other people when you use services associated with the Site(s).

    4. For purposes which are required by law.
    5. For the purpose of responding to requests by government, a court of law, or law enforcement authorities conducting an investigation.
5. When we disclose your personal information
  1. We will disclose personal information to the following recipients:
    1. authors of any items or services made available to you, so they can facilitate support and license validation, who maybe located in any of the countries our products are available in;
    2. subcontractors and service providers who assist us in connection with the ways we use personal information (as set out above), in particular: website hosting providers which are located in US; technical and customer support services which are located in Pakistan, Indonesia and the US; security and fraud prevention services which are located in the US; subscription management services which are located in the US; payment processing services which are located in the US; identification verification services located in the US; and operational tooling services which are located in the US. Noting that our subcontractors and services providers may also transfer and access such information from other countries in which they have operations.
    3. our professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, financial advisers etc.) which are located in Pakistan;
    4. regulators and government authorities in connection with our compliance procedures and obligations;
    5. a purchaser or prospective purchaser of all or part of our assets or our business, and their professional advisers, in connection with the purchase;
    6. a third party to respond to requests relating to a criminal investigation or alleged or suspected illegal activity;
    7. a third party, in order to enforce or defend our rights, or to address financial or reputational risks;
    8. a rights holder in relation to an allegation of intellectual property infringement or any other infringement; and
    9. other recipients where we are authorised or required by law to do so.
6. Transmission to Third Parties
  1. Within the scope set forth in Sec. 1.2 and 1.3, we may engage external service companies in the United States, Asia and the European Union, with servers in the United States by way of order data processing. We will do so only on the basis of agreements, which comply, with all statutory requirements ensuring the proper processing and use of any transmitted Personal Data.
    Declaration of Consent
    I hereby give permission for my Personal Data as set forth in Sec. 1.2 and 1.3 to be transferred to third parties for the purpose of billing and scheduling. I reserve the right to withdraw this consent by notifying Qutor in writing or by e-mail (info@qutor.com) , in which case Qutor will be obligated to delete my Personal Data from their and the third party’s server within a reasonable period of time.
  2. Furthermore, in certain cases we are obliged by law to pass Personal Data on to third parties, e.g. to uncover any unlawful use of our website or for general legal prosecution. In such cases we may pass Personal Data on to criminal prosecution and other competent authorities or affected third parties. This may apply also if the user relationship has already terminated.
7. Where we transfer and/or store your personal information
  1. We are based in Pakistan so your data will be processed in Pakistan and the US. Some of the recipients we have described in section 5 above, and to whom we disclose your personal information, are based outside Pakistan in places like, US and Indonesia. We do this on the basis of your consent to this policy. In order to protect your information, we take care where possible to work with subcontractors and service providers who we believe maintain an acceptable standard of data security compliance.
8. How we keep your personal information secure
  1. We store personal information on secure servers that are managed by us and our service providers, and occasionally hard copy files that are kept in a secure location in Pakistan, Indonesia and the US. Personal information that we store or transmit is protected by security and access controls, including username and password authentication, two-factor authentication, and data encryption where appropriate.
9. How you can access your personal information
  1. You can access some of the personal information that we collect about you by logging in to your account. You also have the right to make a request to access other personal information we hold about you and to request corrections of any errors in that data. 10. Marketing Choices regarding your personal information
  1. Where we have your consent to do so (e.g. if you have subscribed to one of our e-mail lists or have indicated that you are interested in receiving offers or information from us), we send you marketing communications by email about products and services that we feel may be of interest to you. You can ‘opt-out’ of such communications if you would prefer not to receive them in the future by using the “unsubscribe” facility provided in the communication itself.

12. Google Analytics
  1. We use the Google Analytics service from Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”) to analyze our website visitors. Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online product or service by users is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online products and services by users, to compile reports on the activities within these online products and services and to provide us with further services associated with the use of these online products and services and the use of the internet. Pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data.
  2. We use Google Analytics only with IP anonymization enabled. This means that Google will truncate the IP address of users within Member States of the European Union or in other states that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
  3. The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser is not merged with other Google data. Users can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting the settings to their browser software accordingly.

  2. We use the “Facebook pixels” from Facebook Inc (1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or, if you are based in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”)) on our website.
  3. This allows user behavior to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This enables us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, i.e. we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook, which is why we are informing you, based on our knowledge of the situation.   1. We will need to change this policy from time to time in order to make sure it stays up to date with the latest legal requirements and any changes to our privacy management practices.
