Assalamu alaykum Sisters, It’s a great pleasure to address to all my sisters interested in learning and understanding the Holy Quran. The Prophet (saw) said: “The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it” (al-Bukhari). I hope we can be the best as described in the hadith by learning and teaching it and that the Quran becomes a source of barakah for our Dunya and hereafter. My name is Madiha, I am from Pakistan but grew up in Saudi Arabia and started learning while in Saudi and subsequently completed my Hifz of Quran in Pakistan from a renowned madrasa i.e Jamiatul Uloom Al Islamia Binoria Town, Karachi. I have also completed Tajweed course from Al-Huda Islamabad. I am also currently pursuing a graduate course in Islamic studies and trying to get better with the understanding and comprehension of the Holy Quran. Learning the recitation of the Quran has been a passion in my life and I love to beautify my Quranic recitation and have been striving to improve it everyday. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “He is not one of us who does not beautify his voice for the Qur’an.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari in his Saheeh (7527). I have been teaching Quran on one to one basis for many years now with my students ranging from young kids to those working in the corporate world. I am extremely easy going with my students and will believe in proceeding at a pace that the students are comfortable with. Any sister wishing to learn the Quran has never regretted learning from me and I can promise the same to any prospective student.
