I got interested in memorizing The Qur'an after I entered my university years for studyig mechanical engineering. My interest was spiked by listening to the Imams of the haram in Makkah. I was particularly inspired by Shaykh Saud bin Ibrahim Al-Shuraim. Thereafter, I started my journey of memorizing and ultimately completed a few years later. Alongside the hifz, I also learned the Arabic language and learned the grammar, sarf and balaghah of The Qur'an as well. Today, I can teach Qura'n recitation with tajweed. Alhamdulillah.
